  “At 14 years old this was the first adult content book I had ever read other then playboy, and I think that may have been part of why I read it…. The store goes like this, I have an older brother, he and I sheared the same room, he had playboy magazines I would look at them, my buddies would look at them, we would get, “you know” and then do things with one another… Needless to say if you do something too often you’re going to get caught… Well I was, my mom was very concerned, and took me to a psychotherapist “the same one that she was seeing” I saw him twice, he pronounced me a normal “maybe queer teen”… It was the first time I was able too look at being gay as normal, even though I was not yet ready to except that I was gay… Oh, the book... He recommended that I read a few of the chapters in the book... Needless to say I read the whole thing… A few years back I saw it in the stacks of a client... She ask me why I was so smiley all of a sudden... It is interesting how things can bring memories of good times back... reading this book was a good time... ”

  “I read ths in the 60s and was amazed by what I didn't know. Maybe out of date now but, then the basics remain the same.”
