Even though Stranger in a Strange Land is Heinleins more famous book, as far as concepts go, this is probably going to be his more memorable book, for it became a somewhat famous sci-fi movie (I liked the bugs in the movie).
You do get a sense of his anti-establishment opinion within this book that makes you wonder where his political views were, but hey, what use are other peoples opinions anyway?
In my view, if you are going to read a Heinlein book, then this is the one I would chose.”
“This is much more then space war action. Love for your world is mixed with friendship, respect and a little humor. If you like Heinlein, reed also Farhams Freehold”

I was amazed at the amount of detail left out of the movie, that I found in the book. For instance, there was no reference to the powered suits used by the soldiers, in the movie. Nor was there as much information describing Rico's buddies and their adventures. Overall I very much enjoyed reading this book and would definitly recomend it to any one who has seen the movie because it gives a much broader picture of the story and the characters involved.”

It boasts exciting action, but that isn't all that it has going for it. It introduces many intriguing and highly detailed elements of a human society engaged in total war.”
