Wasnt as good as the first one, but got a lot better in the middle once Rob came into the picture. Wasnt as much Jess/Rob moments as I was hoping for, but the ending was enjoyable. I love the way Meg Cabot writes this series and the Mediator. There is lots of humor and funny commentary in both series.

Nisareen - So Much To Read So Little Time

JESS MASTRIANI was dubbed "Lightning Girl" by the press when she developed a psychic ability to find missing children after she was struck by lightning during a huge storm. Now Jess has lost her miraculous powers...or at least she would like the media and the government to think so. All she wants is to be left alone. But it doesn't look like Jess is going to get her wish -- especially not while working at a summer camp for musically gifted kids. When the father of a missing girl shows up to beg Jess to find his daughter, Jess can't say no. Now the Feds are on her tail again, as is one ornery stepdad, who'd like to see Lightning Girl...well, dead.

The BEST book ever, even though I can't say that because I've said that for a bunch of books...so yeah. It's still really good though!!

I liked this book. It is funny, full of adventure and action, and Jess, the main character, is just so likable.
I liked any time that Jess was dealing with the FBI agents.
I would definitley reccommend it to peers.

Another good series by Meg Cabot!! I haven't read all of them yet, but I plan to someday. About a girl who gets struck by lightning and has special powers. The government starts using her to find missing children, and the FBI is always on her tail. If you like Meg Cabot you'll like these!

Another thrilling adventure where you meet back up with Jess. After all thats happened, she goes to camp to cool off and chill out for a while. Though what happens is the exact opposite. she ends up right back in the middle of the whole psychic, paranormal thing once again. She has been thrown back into what she's been trying to escape. Will she use her powers or will she stick with the normal life? Well, you'll have to read the book to find out.
