“ Of Mice and Men was a pretty good book. It was good because it always kept me interested in the book. There wasn't a single moment where it started to slow up, there was always something new happening. I knew that Lenny was going to die. The only thing I did not know was that George would be the one pulling the trigger. I thought that George was going to defend Lenny all the way until the very end. But, I guess George thought that Lenny would be happier not having to run away again and find a new life. Maybe George just couldn't handle Lenny any more. Whatever it was, George put Lenny out of his own misery.”

Curley started it and George said to Lennie "fight back" and he did. After the fight when Lennie did not let go of Curley's hand George was pushing lennie then he finaly let go of Curley's hand. George was washing Lennie's face to be a great friend then George got very mad at Lennie because he killed Curley's Wife then Curley said i know who killed my wife and Curley and his backup friends were on horses. so they can get to Lennie but George was the first one to find Lennie and he did. George was talking about their dream then George did not want his friend to be in pain so George killed Lennie fast and quick in the back of Lennie's head so his friend Lennie wont feel the pain. what i liked about the book and movie is because George and Lennie had a speical friendship.”

It is a memorable tragedy well worth reading.”
