You Suck was a the fun sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends. I was tickled to find that a scene in You Suck is also in A Dirty Job. I think my favorite character in this book was the "cute" but goth, young but wise Abby Normal. (snicker, snicker, with a nod to Young Frankenstein.) I love Christopher Moore's sense of humor, but also his way of still making these crazy characters ones you can really care about.

I haven't read this one, but "Lamb" is fabulous!!! The "true life" story of J.C. as a teenager...good stuff.

    What did you think?

I've seen this book, and I've been tempted to pick it up. What did you think?

I read both these books but actually found "You Suck" first. I thought it was so funny and enjoyed it very much! You can read them in any order, although some other things will make more sense if you read them in order.

Actually, You Suck is a sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends.
But I agree, read both BSF and A Dirty Job before You Suck.

I'd pick it up. Not as good as Lamb (his best in my opinion) but still made me laugh out loud. Read BloodSucking Fiends first, as this is the sequel to that one.
