  “The heroine is dealing with the murder of her mother over the gossip-laden diary she kept. And then she finds out her husband is lying to her—probably cheating on her. He travels for work, and he wasn’t at the hotel where he said he would be—and a woman answers, when she calls the number he left. She asks for a divorce, but he doesn’t want one. He does have a secret life, but he’s not cheating, he’s a government agent. The murderer starts coming after the heroine, and he has a chance to stay, to try to work things out. Good read, very mild suspense elements, lots of heat and emotion.”
