“Entertaining enough to read in one sitting, but it didn't particularly impress me. The writing was sometimes clunky, especially when giving the reader information, and dialogue could be stilted. The fantasy elements seemed more like window dressing on a fairly generic 'bad guys do bad things for money' type plot rather than an integral part of it. Not bad, but not great.'”
