  • Pravda: 'Pravda', or 'Truth' in English, was the official newspaper of the Soviet Union. It acted as the main organ for distributing news from the Party itself, and existed from 1912 until 1991. Significantly, the paper pre-dates the formation of the Soviet Union by twelve years, and was occasionally contributed to by Josef Stalin, under a number of different aliases and pen-names.
