If I could give this book 10 stars I would. This book changed my life and led me to become a feminist and a card carrying NOW member. I helped open a DV shelter and I finally found my voice.

When I first read this book, I couldn't identify with it at all. Then after I'd been married several years--I got it. This was in the late 70s. Thank goodness things have changed a bit.
