One of the best Jodi Picoult novels I've read, this one shows her readers how perfection can be everything but.

Spare yourself this romanticizing of domestic violence and co-dependency!

It starts out with the main character, Jane/Cassie, having amnesia and she is cared for by an LAPD, Will Flying Horse, who happens to be running away from his own life as a "half-breed" Native American or Indian as is in the book, from South Dakota.
Without giving too much away Cassie is reunited with her husband and is slowly grasping her past memories.
I couldn't relate to any character in the book though I liked Will's grandparents best they weren't in the book enough for my taste.
For me the book was frustrating as I'm sure it would be in real life for someone who knows they're in a relationship they shouldn't be in.
I've read quite a few books by Picoult and this one would rate as the worst for me. It leaned too close to a romance novel with beatings as an extra curricular activity. I was happy enough with the ending that I didn't burn the book, but I don't recommend it for reading either.

I had a hard time keeping the three simultaneous stories straight, but this book did not disappoint.

Really hard to get into, but determined to finish. Not one of Picoult's best, but an okay read.
