“We've really been enjoying the series so we thought we'd read the graphic novels. Honestly I like the show better, it's meatier. The graphic novels seem to only skim the surface. Also I found the style of making random words BOLD very annoying. IDK if that's a graphic novel thing or the author's. ”

“I was subbing in a high school library today, and one of the students returned this. Since it was just sitting next to me on the desk, I decided to read it, since I'd heard a lot about the series (both the comic and the TV show). I didn't love it, like a lot of people do, but it was a decent enough way to spend an hour while I stared at the backs of students' heads as they played flash games on antiquated laptops. ”

“A little gory and graphic (no pun intended) but I find it interesting the social/emotional aspect of living in a world that has catastrophically changed. I also love survival fiction and this series is all about survival. Fans of the series will like this graphic novel series although the stories have taken different paths. ”
