The best lesson for me was to pray everyday and ask God what it is HE wants me to do that day. The take home illustration is the one where we have a cart and God puts a rock (or "our thing to do that day") in our cart and asks us to take it to the top of a mountain. As we travel up we see people in need and add their rocks to our cart. By the time we get near the top, we cry out to God wondering why we can't make it to the top. The moral: we have what we need to get to the top if we carry what HE gives us!”
