It is a classic for a reason and nobody talks like that or writes like that anymore--I doubt people could if they tried. It will be dry the first little bit, but as you get used to the style you don't notice it as much. Also, keep track of the timeline as you go along, it jumps a bit, but all in all a very good book. Liturature class could do much worse.”

Yes | No0 of 1 members found this review helpful“Again, probably a classic but I had to read it at uni as part of an ancient history course - it's supposed to be an adventure story, but I found it really repetitive and pretty slow. I was so bored I bought a tape and listened to it instead just to try and get through it a bit quicker.
