The book is one of his shortest; it’s taut as a noose, and this dark fable glows like an emerald bracelet coiled around Estella’s ivory wrist. |

“I don't know why it's taken me so long to pick up this great classic. I really did enjoy it. It is quite humorous and easier to read than many other classics from the same time period. ”

One day Pip finds a convict and doesnt know if his life is in danger. He doesnt know what to tell his sister he is scared to tell her because what if the convict kills him. I recommend this book to everyone of all ages its a really good book.”

I learnt English as a second language through Dickens and other classical writers. I have been told that such writers are passe. What codswallop! ”
