“I could not have said it better myself. Every time I am able to force myself to read a passage about Edward and Bella's relationship (any passage of the fucking book), I just get a cold chill and think about how Edward sounds ridiculously like the last kind of guy any girl would want to get mixed up with. It seems as though that people only see him as the ideal man because Bella, the narrator, actually tells them that he is. It scares me. It really does. I think that it's an okay book to kill time with. It's bulky, it's a page-turner, and it's not taxing on the mind. But the underlining, unintended theme to their relationship and the obsession that this book is becoming for everyone, I think that it is now a pulp fiction book gone way out of control. I hope the fad dies soon.”
“I completely agree with you! As a high schooler, everyone I know is absolutely obsessed with them, but it seems like Bella does absolutely nothing and Edward is only impressive because he doesn't eat her. I'm hoping that Edward and Jacob go gay for each other, since Bella doesn't deserve either one. I understand that this book is good for merely entertainment purposes and not for intellectual purposes, but if it's merely entertainment it shouldn't get so much good press. I'm so happy that so many people agree, since I seem to be the only one my age who thinks that.”
“i completely agree with you but i'm a little young to be seeing the f-word here....”
