Books

I find it disappointing that so many people are in such a need to find some intellectual stimulation from this book. Sometimes the reader just wants entertainment. And while this is NOT Shakespeare by any means, it isn't quite the garbage most of you negative reviewers are claiming it to be. It's the same when a movie critic bashes cartoons. Guess what? It's not made for you. If you don't like it, stop reading...but at least go into the review with the brains and decency to address this book as it is, a young adult romance novel. And while Edward can be seen as obsessive, most young girls do dream of that knight to come and wisk them away, that's the reason people read these books. It is fantasy. It's the same reason why people still watch Cinderella and Snow White. Of course there have been better movies made since these, but they are timeless and classic because they entertain the notion that our knight is somewhere. And I actually feel bad for you, because you've obviously not felt that rush of emotion and adrenaline from seeing that one person who does make you feel those butterflies in your stomach. But there are those of us who have, and do, or wish to one day. And you keep referring to Edward as a "guy" which he isn't. He's a VAMPIRE. So any real reading of your interpretation of him goes out the window because you are applying too much reality into a fantasy.
