As Shakespeare knew, love burns high when thwarted by obstacles. In Twilight, an... (read more)

i love twilight but im nervous to see the movie because as always the movie isn't sa good as the book. in this case they are once again correct. i disagree with the actors and how the think it should be. like when edward runs in the book hes on the ground. In the movie he's hopping from branch to branch like a jumping spider. but i love the book its the perfect romance

Okay, and please don't hurt me for this, but what makes these worth reading? I read the summary and figured out the entire plot line in two minutes tops. The writing style is mediocre, and quite frankly, I've read better vampire fiction on the internet. So WHY exactly is every otherwise intelligent individual obsessed with them? Is it just that everyone else has some inherent romanticism for cliche plots that I was born without? Or is it just that I could have read these in third grade?

i guess people say so is just cuz they really go conected wiht the book. i find it really interesting to read and it has that thing that makes you wanna read more and more plus the story is great! i've read some other vampire books like Lestat by Anne Rice and i cant say i was bad is a diferent way , a new way for us to see vampires, not just as the bloodsucking monsters but also creatures that love and wanna be loved.

If you think this book is "the best book ever" ask yourself this one question...how many books have you read in the vampire YA genre?? Because I would like to wager (or maybe hope) that only those who haven't read much in this genre/at all are the ones who are blown away by this mediocre book...because the alternative is really really sad.

This is the worst book I've read as of the moment. All my classmates were telling me how much of a good book it was and I read it based on their recommendation. Well...what happened was I sat through two hours of the most mind-boggling questions alive. The mind-boggling questions were, "How the hell could my classmates think this book was worth anything?" There were a whole lot of other questions aside from that but it just basically all followed the same train of thought.

I read it and I just kept wondering what they could have possibly seen in it. It's a shallow book. The plot is uninteresting, the characters predictable. It's like one of those school romance stories your read in Fictionpress, only in this one, there's a vampire involved.

I couldn't understand how the vampire could possibly fall in love with her. She's a friggin child for cryin out loud. The vamp is a pedophile no matter how young he looks. I don't understand how the book could have possibly ever become a best seller. If this is the standard the people allow themselves to think as great then I might as well then Fictionpress writers might as well just publish their own stories because i've read more there that were decidedly a lot better.

This book was such a disappointment. It makes me cringe to look at it now whenever I step into a bookstore. If it was just labeled as a teenage romance book full of shallow feelings, I wouldn't feel so bad about it, but the book masquerades under the idea that it is a mature read. I cannot stand for that.

If you want to save your time, don't read this book. That is my advice.

DON'T EVEN THINK OF BUYING IT!!!
