    • Ages 9-12 - I read this book for a parent book review group for our school book fair.like it its realy good I think the reading level for this book is around 3rd or 4th grade (it is too new to have an AR level yet). The length may intimidate the average 3rd grader at 358 pages though. Content-wise there really isn't anything inappropriate for younger readers. Iwould have no problem letting my advanced-reading 2nd grader read it. I'd say it's fine for any age as long as they understand that grandparents die (the protagonist's grandmother had died in the past and the girl does ponder the loss). AR level is set at 4.1. There is one situation in which the word "sexy" is used.rcomand it
