“Disappointed in this book, especially since it was the closing for the Dark is Rising Sequence.
The pacing in this book is amiss and Cooper is just too damn vague throughout the entire series. You'll find yourself going "WHY???" for the most part as the plot thickens.

However. The ending is bittersweet and I almost cried, but that's probably only because I'm a sentimentalist. ”

“This is the last book on The dark is Rising sequence and it is the last battle between the light and dark. As the dark grows stronger, Will and his friends go on another adventure to get the silver flower they need to defeat the dark forever.
I liked this book because it has a lot of action. It also taught me that just as there is many people in our lives that we should trust, there are also those who are good at hiding their identity and when we find out who they really ire, it isn't easy to accept. It also taught me that there are things that it is better that we never find out about them because we can't prevent them, so all they do is cause fear.”
