In this story, York moves into an alternate universe. The heroine is a female shapeshifter. One of her forms is a wolf. In our universe, there are no female werewolves. They're all male, and the hero has been caught in a steel trap. She finds him and helps him escape, because the trap was set for her, then they go back to her world through the gate in the woods, to escape the bad guys coming for her. There's a lot of running from bad guys and a lot of backstory about the alternate universe....
