I have read her articles which appear in the Indian Express and am glad I chose her book. How well she has blended the 9 faces of Kathakali in this novel!”

An endearing work of "mixing memory and desire", art and life. Set amidst the lush monsoon landscape of the Nila, it cuts across three generations of glory, guilt and the longing for redemption through art in life and life in art. A heterodiegetic perspective of inevitable shakles in life that ony art can redeem; either through the emotional exponential experience of a cathartic Kathakali experience, or the act of riding on and writing one's past and rewriting one's present. An excellent and mature work of intricate narrative nuances drawn through interior monologues that are Faulknerian stucture and typically Indian in style.”
