Kay Marshall Strom's "The Call of Zulina" is a gripping fictional account of the horrors of the slave trade. A young woman, Grace Winslow, just happens to be the product of a mixed marriage - her father, an Englishman and her mother, an African princess. When she runs away to avoid a marriage she doesn't want, she is caught up in a slave revolt that leads to her learning the truth about how her father makes his living!

This story is full of faith and courage as Grace steps up and fights against her own family's business to do what is right! This story is full of action and adventure and godly wisdom. This is a subject that the author is passionate about, and it shows. This is a wonderful work of fiction deeply steeped in historical fact that will enlighten and challenge the reader to new levels of thought.
