“This touching story is one that will stick with you for a long, long time. The images it leaves in your mind will really make you think and may change the way you perceive those around you. Wonderful story, and one that everyone should read at some point.”

Many girls can relate to the characters and especially the main character. I really like this book as a class read aloud because it can be read to students who may not be up this text's reading level. It a great story and one that will teach anyone about compassion.”
