“It is always refreshing to read a book with both strong male and female characters. Although he saves her when she is young, and years later, she saves him, the characters are strong enough that both of them had the chance to save themselves.

The book itself was a quick read and enjoyable. More importantly, even though this book is the first of a duology, it wraps up almost all the loose ends. I plan on reading book two, but I don't have to pick up a copy immediately.”
