Didn’t Like It“I tried, I really did. Read the first book through twice (not because I liked it, but because I WANTED to like it) and tried twice to read through this one. I can't. Chalk it up to her writing style, I guess. Just a lot of rambling, unnecessary detail that detracts from the actual story.” see full review » see other reviews » |

The world is in turmoil because of Davids love for her, and they must find a way to fix it. She is betrayed and bound, and broken. Lots of action, interesting characters and situations.”

The second book in the weather wardens series picks up where Ill Wind left off. Joanne is now a Djinn and is trying to get to grips with her new powers. David the Djinn that created her to save her from death, and also her lover, is helping her through her transition. But when David is called to the head Djinn, Joanne realises that in saving her, David broke all the rules. Left with difficult choices, can Jo and David justify their relationship when the costs are so high?

“Good book. Love the lead female character.”

Joanne Baldwin was a weather warden, but now she's a Djinn, made that way by her Djinn boyfried as she died. But all is not good with the world, there's something going very wrong with it and she and David may just be the cause”

I LOVE her writing style--her own kind of "street" talk that she does. The plot keeps getting crazier so Im looking forward to the next book!”
