- Lyn (a.k.a. Lynie): Neo-gladiator daughter (aka. the main character) of Alison. She is 18 and doesn't want to be a gladiator's wife.
- Thad: Lyn's little 8 year old brother who has an autism spectrum disorder. He can foretell the future sometimes.
- Allison: Lyn's mother, so obsessed with the Glad culture that she has married 7 fighters even though they always die in the arena.
