  • Quest Munoz: Main character and narrator of book. Nickname is Q. 13 year old son of Blaze Munoz (who became Blaze Tucker shortly after the book started) He has curly straw-colored hair, green eyes, and looks lanky. Step-son to Roger and step-brother to Angela.
  • Angela Tucker: Named after the meaning of her mom's name "Angel." She is the 15 year old daughter of the song writer Roger Tucker. Angela has shoulder-length black hair with bangs, olive-colored skin, and dark brown eyes. She also carries around a small, tattered, camouflage back pack with her everywhere she goes. She never seemed to care what people thought of her. Q's new step-sister and spy-partner.
  • Blaze Tucker: Q's mother, and new wife to Roger Tucker. Part of the singing duo "Match."
  • Roger Tucker: Angela's father, and new husband to Blaze Munoz. Part of the singing duo "Match."
  • Tyrone 'Boone' Boone: "Match" band roadie/leader of the SOS group.
  • Malak Tucker: Angela's mother, Roger's first wife, Secret Service Agent 'supposedly' killed in the line of duty. Pretends to be her twin sister who was a terrorist and killed trying to diffuse a bomb.

  • Buddy T.: Manager of Match.
  • Vanessa: Part of the SOS team.
