Great read!

I picked this book up traveling in Italy. I got wrapped up in the history of Florence and couldn't stop reading this on a train ride.

A great description of Florence, Rome, and Vatican City, the way it used to be. Ross King turns the tragic figure of Michaelangelo upside down and pokes fun at his less than perfect personality quirks. Overall an interesting look at the dance 2 strong headed individuals were engaged in that propelled arguably the greatest...
