This is one of those books that I simply could not put down and upon finishing, thought to myself, "Wow, I need to read this again." It is a challenging and intriguing new look at gender roles in Christianity. Sumner approaches the topic with an amazing degree of delicacy and humility and yet she has quite a bit to say as well.

Regardless of whether her main arguments are right, I would say this book is worth reading if for no other reason than because of the wonderful job that she...
