I really love this book. I thought that the charaters were very realistic. You know how you read a book and think "Yeah right that could never happen" I never did that through out the story. I thought that the heroine was strong and believable. I even at times thought the next line before I read it but the story line didn't get predictable. Brenda Novack is a excellent writer and I looking forward to enjoying more of her books!

My aunt gave me this book when it was delivered with her local Sunday newspaper. I had not read Harlequin since high school, and was greatly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

The main female lead of the story, Katie, finds herself alone and pregnant, returning to her hometown of Dundee, Idaho.
This is a small town where everyone knows your name, past mistakes, present problems and judgment is served up daily.

Complicating her return is Booker, the town bad-boy and Katie's former boyfriend. The last person she would expect to find support from, when she is shunned by her parents.

The characters, main and secondary, are well-developed in this novel. You will find yourself cheering them on as they triumph over adversity and show more heart, compassion and loyalty than those who are judging them.

Loved this Book!

I also am a Mrs. K in Ohio that received this book free with our Sunday newspaper. I started reading it Sunday afternoon and finished it up Monday morning. No sense to go into the storyline since most people have but wanted to say I fell in love with the characters and wanted to tell Katies parents off myself. When a book pulls you in that far it is a GREAT book. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I will be sure to look for more titles from Brenda Novak. Also thank you Harlequin for sending out the free book!
