Randy Shilts takes a hard look at the beginning of the AIDS outbreak. Regan had his head so far up his ass regarding AIDS, I mean, think of the lives that could have been saved had congress acted sooner.

    Absolutly great book--best one I have read in recent years! The book would seem like fiction, hard to imagine such a possibly preventable epidemic, could have potentially been avoided if HIV/AIDS had been handled differently by health officials/politicians/media/etc... from the beginning.
