“Spiderwick by Holly Black is a pretty good book. This book is a book about a little boy Jared who has a brother and a sister. They werent happy about moving in to a small house in the middle of nowhere. Soon as they comel to realize their staying they learn to deal with it. Then they soon find a book that leads them to a whole new WORLD!! I would only reccomind othis book to people who loves adventures! ”

In this wonderfully creative story, the reader/listener is introduced to a whole new world of possibility - the fun, the excitement, the mystery combined with much suspense. This is a great book for readers/listeners who like fantasy books, especially fairies, goblins and other creatures. To see how DiTerlizzi and Black intertwine the real world that the Grace children live in and the fantasy world immediately surrounding them is a pleasure. ”

“It was very easy to read but I was hoping for a bit more depth. The plot was a bit predictable and there was nothing really original about it. The faeries were interesting and the illustrations were great but I must admit this was not among the best children books I've read.”
