Characters edit
- Rick Grimes: Main character who is a small town Georgia cop. He is shot and after waking from a coma, goes to look for his family after a zombie epidemic.
- Lori Grimes: Rick's wife.
- Carl Grimes: Rick and Lori's son.
- Shane: Rick's partner and friend
- Glenn: Used to deliver pizzas, now helps the group of survivors by making trips into Atlanta for supplies.
- Dale: The oldest of the group of survivors, he owns the RV that some in the group of survivors live in.
- Andrea: Amy's sister. Worked at a law firm before everything started going wrong. She was on a road trip with her sister and had car troubles before meeting up with the group. She becomes an expert marksman with the help of Rick and Shane.
- Amy: Sister of Andrea. A college stdent. They were both rescued by Dale.
- Jim: A survivor who got out of Atlanta, but not before witnessing some horrible acts.
