  “The fourth in the series of Don Juan narratives, by Carlos Castenada, Tales of Power is the most disappointing. Throughout, the author seems to have no clue as to what has happened to him personally as a consequence of his depening relationship with the sorcerers of Don Juan's group. The book, while compelling in places, ends disappointingly. I recommend it to anyone committed to reading the series.”
