“I think a lot of comparisons of this book to Watership Down are somewhat unfair. I know there are significant similarities, but this book stands perfectly fine on its own without the comparisons.
“I liked it but the plot moved a little too slow.”Leah B wrote this review Saturday, April 20, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“I very much liked this book. It was very different, as the main character is a dear. It is very well written, although it is more geared towards teens and young adults. ”Peter Marrocco wrote this review Wednesday, January 30, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“This book is absolutly amazing.
The story line is wonderful.
I just kept wanting to turn the page to know what happened next.
It threw curve balls around every corner and it made me want to read more and more everyday

“I thought I would love this book, as I generally enjoy animal based books - but I struggled to get into this one, and the characters were not particularly endearing. However, it was still a good read, and I am keen to read more of this author's work.”Aileen Pettigrew wrote this review Monday, March 19, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“It started off promisingly, but it quickly became so dull that I had to force myself to read it, and more than halfway through I gave up. The characters were flat and unlikable, the plot was not absorbing, and the premise was a flagrant rip-off of Watership Down. ”Meg Chee wrote this review Monday, February 20, 2012.
