  • Wilhelmina Murray (Mina): The divorced wife of Johnathan Harker commissioned to lead the group. She comes from the book Dracula by Bram Stoker.
  • Allan Quatermain: The Great White Hunter of Africa recruited by Mina for the group.
  • Captain Nemo: The science Pirate whose reasoning for being in the group is unknown.
  • Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: The doctor and the beast captured and given a place in the group.
  • Hawley Griffin: The Invisible Man captured and given a place in the group.
  • C. Auguste Dupin: Parisian detective of Rue Morgue fame. Dupin assists Mina and Allan in Paris. This character was created by Edgar Allen Poe and seen by many as the precursor to Sherlock Holmes.
  • Randolph Carter: Young dreamer met by Allan Quartermain and the Time Traveler during Allan's adventure in the realm of sleep. Carter is HP Lovecraft's main protagonist in many stories and allegedly a fictional alias of Lovecraft himself.
  • Mr Bond: The man who sends Mina on her journeys to acquire more people for the menagerie. He is employed by a man called Mr. M.
  • Mr. M: The mystery man behind the group.
