“This was enjoyable... attempting not to sound too critical as that seems to be prerogative on Shelfari! Twas good, drawn out a lot. The mother's character was fun although the central female was unusually fortunate. Props to Phillipa Gregory though, I love her style of writing.”

I am anxiously waiting her second book on the war of the roses and I am looking for a copy of "The Other Boleyn Girl" although I have already seen the movie.”

Yes | No“(Cousin's War ~ Wars of the Roses) I read the book and listen on cd while driving to school. I found the book was way better than the CD, offering more details that I enjoyed. I can't say I loved this book or that I even really liked it. It was just so so for me. I enjoyed learning about King Edward IV & Queen Elizabeth, and their family that preceded the Tudors. I thought the last quarter of the book, after King Edward dies, was the best part. I also like the "witchcraft" , but I wasn't crazy about the Melusina myth.
