I mean, he separates Mrs. Silver and Alfie for his own selfish purposes. At least Alfie went on to live with someone who took good care of him. I thought the book had great meaning and it gave me a lot of laughs. It's a great children's book. Plus at the end I realized that the title was backwards for tortoise!:)”

I think it's perfect for small kids. ”

“A man falls in love with love with a lady that lives right below him in their apartment. He is to shy to ask her if she will marry him. He uses tortoises to ask her if she will marry him. ”
