This is a great book! It is a story that is told in Sacajawea's point of view. She talks about her journey with Lewis and Clark. It is a book of historical fiction.

The author takes a lot of liberties with the history in this book concerning the relationship between Clark and Sacagawea and what becomes of her and the dog. I wouldn't recommend it.

If you like this book I suggest reading ""Island of the blue Dlophins" by the same author.

I loved this book. It really illuminates Sacagawea's travels with new, strange explorers and the trials of the journey.

We follow the amazing Sacagawea on her journey from a 13 yearold, to a captive, to a wife, to a mother, to a navigator on the historical Lewis and Clark expidition. See her life change before your very eyes.

An awesome interpretation of Sacajawea's journey and the life of a Native American beginning to live in a white man's world.

Gives Sacagewea a real and strong voice making a wonderful historical character come to life.

I don't really like this book, mostly because i had to read it for school. But also because it was kind of boring at times.
