“The author describes what life has been like for a Kashmiri family during the troubled times in the Kashmir, especially since 1990 when Muslim insurgents began seriously challenging the Indian rule. I did not find this book as good a read as other books of this genre that have chronicled the personal lives of people living in troubled lands of Asia and the Middle East.”
