  “Just started this book, but it's incredible. A very real, very down and dirty look at the LAPD cops in the 77th division. I really wish he'd write the sequel, but he seems to have disappeared.”

  “L.A. Rex is Will Beall's first book and it is a good one. The story takes place from 1986 to 1998, switching from the presnt to the past. The book is about Ben who is a cop in the LAPD who works homicides. Him and his partner Marquez go around the city stoping crime and trying to take Darius and his gang. The book also switches back to when Ben was a kid and was in Darius gang and tells that story. I gave the book a 5 because I did not want to put it down, very descriptive and tons of action and good characters. I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes cop drama or really good action. I would say the theme of this book is never know who you can trust because a lot of people change during the story. Overall a great book. ”
