While I enjoyed Robert Jordan's work enough to stick with the series over the long breaks, I enjoy Mr. Sanderson's work more. He has breathed new life into the characters, to the point, strange as it is, its like he's talking about old friends.

Awesome continuation of the series. A lot of the story lines are reaching their apex, which was one of the main criticisms of the previous few books.

The first volume of the last book. Finally the story gains momentum and some major steps to the last battle are made.

Update: bought it on my e-book. As this is part XX of a copious volume of books, this one I am going to continue reader when I'm in the mood. May take a while as the older volume date back a long long time ago. Keep you informed:) --- Part 12 and the final closure of the Wheel of Time (WoT). Hey! On the first page they tell us this final episode consisted of too many pages to be published as one book, and will be split in three! To 15 in total:) Great. Aah ok: Robert Jordan (US writer James Oliver Rigney) has created a world that surpasses many worlds of fantasy in both depth and complexity. Unfortunately Jordan left this world rather definitely before finishing his humongous epic totaling some 12.000 pages. Thus this book took a long time to finish (thanks to Brandon Sanderson). Started in 1990 (first publishing of part 1) it has taken 19 years from start to end. I was in the fortunate circumstance to be in England when this book was finally released. I almost forgot about the tales of Rand al'Thor:) I am going to enjoy this one tremendously!

New writer. Somethings better and others not so good... This new book, with Brandon Sanderson, had some terribly poetic moments. It was touching and well written. I recommend this one highly and have preordered the next book in the series. It should be here the day after tomrrow and I can start it. Only two to go...

OK book. It is 750 pages long, and since it is a new book at the library I had only one week to read it. I did it.

With 12 books done and 2 more to be released, this is a very long read. Sanderson does not drag up all the prior all the prior events like Jordan did and his style does read quicker.

One of my favorites in the series, mainly because things end on a good note this time and some of the issues are being resolved. Now it's getting really good and I am almost caught up with the rest of the WOT world!
