- Reginia Halloway: Six months ago Reggie discovered a ghoulish looking book, The Devouring, at the local bookstore she works at. What harm could be done by taking it home for a peak, right? Wrong. What Reggie thinks is a cool scary story will soon turn into a not-so-cool reality for her and will put the ones she loves in harm's way. Now, just when she thinks that everything has blown over with the Vours, they start showing up again. Only this time with more fun for Reggie to battle. Now Reggie must beat the clock to Summer Solstice to figure out what the Vours have planned for the world before it's all too late.
