“I was wondering if anyone thought The Compound was odd in that it hearkens back to the Cold War? My high school teacher talked about doing nuclear drills, and the cartoons telling kids to duck and cover are in black and white. It seems odd to have the focus be on nuclear fallout when, for the current generation, terrorism and biological warfare is the new fad. Anyone else? ”
