“This book cracked me up!! It was a pretty quick read and I believe I could have read it in about half the time if we didn't have to read about all the drinking they did. I believe my favorite part was when Nora asked Nick if he wanted breakfast and he said it was too early for brreakfast, he wanted a drink first. So Nick and Nora Charles are in Manhatten and circumstances start drawing Nick back into detective work--although he tries to resist. I loved all the conversations with their dry wit and wisecracks. I thought this was part of a series--since it later became a TV series--but I guess not. Anyway--I enjoyed it enough to recommend it. I think I'll go fix myself a martini before I start my next book!”
