I enjoyed the story, and found it unconventional in may ways. I wouldn't say it has made it to my list of must reads, but it was a well organized story. The characters were well developed and very complex. The ending seemed a bit rushed. Maybe that's why the sequel was written.

I thought this story was going to be great, especially after Cornelia and Clare met, but it completely fizzled out. The characters and plot were too cutesy. Everyone was perfect and gorgeous. The dialogue was unrealistic. I also didn't think Clare didn't talk and behave the way an 11 year old...

It's been over a month since I finished this book and my heart still thinks about the characters from this novel. I find Marisa de los Santos's writing perfection: smart, creative, funny, and truthful. Love Walked In in particular is a heart wrenching, and heart warming story. It is full of bright unique characters, who are all living ordinary lives until "love walks in" and makes things a little more unconventional and a lot more complicated. If you're like me- you'll never want to put this book down, or for these characters to move on without you. Read it slowly, it'll end too soon.

You might like this book if you 1. are from Philly, 2. especially like classic movies, or 3. have never read a book before in your life. Otherwise, best skip it.

I loved this book. The characters were so real, so poignant. I've lent this book to everyone I know but insisted they return it so that I can re-read it.

I tried, I really did, but this story was tired and contrived, at best. The characters weren't entirely believable and things just 'happened' that made things too cut and dry. It had some potential at the beginning, but that fell off quickly there-after. I skimmed the last 60+ pages...I got bored.

Even though this is breaking away from my two favorite genres (fantasy and young adult) I really enjoyed this book. It's heartfelt and beautifully written-the literary equivalent of warm apple pie.

I went into this book expecting to love it. Sadly, I was disappointed.

I had a hard time with so many things - the writing style was contrived, the continual references to old movies and actors was annoying, I didn't connect with any of the characters, and I was frustrated with Cornelia's complete lack of moral integrity. True, she loved Clare. But I CANNOT get past the fact [SPOILER ALERT] that she hooked up with her sister's husband. Seriously?! And her counsel to Clare about sex is beyond ridiculous.

I finished this book, but getting through the last third was a struggle for me.
