So far, it's fairly nice, baseball related books always seem to have a good storyline.

This is a good book about a boy named Michael. He has a hero named El Grande that he looks up to. I think that it would be a little hard to understand this book if you do not understand baseball concepts very well. But if you understand the game of baseball I think that this would be a good book for you.

Have you ever had a secret you couldn’t tell anyone? Michael Arroyo does. He is a great twelve year old baseball player who is growing up in the Bronx. Michael was born in Cuba. He has a brother named Carlos who sometimes calls Michael “Little Brother”. Michael also has a father who is supposedly in Florida. Mrs. Cora is taking care of Michael and Carlos while their father is taking care of their uncle who is sick. Michael has a few enemies like Justin the Jerk and Ramon. Michael also has friends named Manny and Ellie who love baseball as much as Michael. Michael and Manny play on a baseball team called the Clippers which is a good comeback team. Michael is the pitcher and Manny is the catcher. The Clippers are so good they get to go to the Old Yankee Stadium for the Little League World Series, but the manager of the other team thinks Michael is too good to be only twelve and demands to see Michael’s birth certificate which is in Cuba. Will Michael get his birth certificate in time? Will the Clippers win the Little League World Series? Will Michael tell the secret of his life?
