They are the reason we now take vacations ... wasn't done before they began to pack up their family and go away for weeks at a time. Then, with the advent of many new inventions, train travel being one of them, many, non wealthy folks found that they too could get away for a day or a weekend as well ... and so it began.

“Very informative, and interesting. What bothered me was mainly the fact that as a modern woman, I found Victoria's submission to Albert and her blind adoration, very frustrating. But such were the times... ”
