Kidnapped is a book set in Scotland. It is a very famous piece of literature that is very well written. David Balfour is sent to his uncle's house. An "accident" that David thinks his uncle construed, so he would not have to give him his fortune of his late parents. David is tricked onto being on a vessel. He wakes up to find himself basically a prisoner of the crew. The captain is plotting to sell him as a slave in the carolinas. This is a very adventurous book that is a somewhat difficult read. The book's characters and plot line are very memorable, and I would definitely recommend it.
