“The Greatest Show on Earth really showed how evolution really is just that. Richard Dawkins is brilliant at describing complicated concepts using examples that anyone could relate to. He also presented the evidence for evolution very straightforwardly and in a way that makes it very acceptable, even demonstrating that evolution has been observed in a human lifetime.
I also agreed with his criticisms of creationist groups that have tried to undermine established science and interfere in science education. He also showed how polls show an alarming number of people, especially in the US, believe the bible should be taken literally in that the world is only six thousand years old and was created in seven days.
Overall, it was a very educational and enjoyable read that clarified many of the concepts surrounding evolution and the evidence that has been found for it.”
